It is very interesting -and not a simple task- trying to understand how the Evaluation field has evolved, hand by hand with other sciences, within the last decades. However, studying these phases and periods, I had the need to try to represent it visually, so I could “see” it more clearly.
So, with the inputs of my teachers, I crafted this possible representation:

It doesn’t pretend to be exhaustive -I just mentioned some of the undeniable biggest contributors-, and not even to precise, but just to try to shed some light on this interesting and important issue, for us who love evaluation.
